My educational presentation for high school students
On Friday, April 12, 2024, I conducted classes for the second grade high school students of ZSO no. 4 of Silesian Piasts in Gliwice, Poland. Once again, thank you very much for the invitation, focused attention, interest and numerous attendance at the presentation.
I am very pleased to announce that the scripts of my three animated films were noticed at the "Rewind International Film Festival" in the UK. The scripts of the "Nibbling of the Night" and "Celine" received a "Semi-Finalist" status, while "The Lodger" achieved the "Nominee" mark, which means that it is nominated in the "Best Student Screenplay" category.
On Monday, January 22, 2024, I had the pleasure of continuing the recording of the Polish dubbing for our animated film "Nibbling of the Night".
Tomasz Sordyl, a talented student of the Academy of Theater Arts in Wrocław, lent his voice to Billy, the husband of the film’s main character, the unhappy housewife Suzy.
On Thursday, December 21, 2023, I visited the Public Primary School of Adela Goszczyńska in Wszebory, where I gave two presentations.
I am glad that in addition to my inspirations and favorite texts of culture, I could also share information about my latest animated film "Nibbling of the Night", which will be available to watch for a wider audience in 2024.
On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, I met for the third time with students of the TeamWork School to conduct classes for high school and primary school.
The topic of our meeting "Works of the Romantic era – an inspiration for contemporary artists" aroused the audience's interest. Thank you very much for your nice reception and commitment throughout the presentation.
I am very happy to announce that I am the winner of the national "Young Polish Woman" competition in the "Culture and Art" category in 2023. Thank you very much to everyone who voted for me and the Jury responsible for the final selection of the winners.
It is an honor for me and a motivation to continue working hard.
On 20.02.2023, on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, I was invited to the XXVIII Wojciech Bednarski Secondary School in Krakow, Poland, to conduct classes on the backstage of creating my animated films, literary inspirations from Greek mythology and the Romantic era.
The initiator of the meeting was a creative Polish philologist and writer – Ms. Weronika Szelegiewicz.
I am glad that once again I had the opportunity to share my passion with others!
On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, I was invited for the second time to the TeamWork School in Józefów to conduct two blocks of classes for high school and primary school students in English and Polish language regarding my work on animated films, 3D computer animation studies and inspirations which I take from Greek mythology and legacy of the Romantic era.
On Monday, January 9, 2023, I was invited to Primary School No. 94 in Warsaw, where I conducted two hours of classes for students of the sixth grade. Through my short, animated films, I talked about various animation techniques, my path so far as a young artist and inspirations drawn from literature.
My animated film "Phantom" received the Honourable Mention Award and the Audience Award in the film competition "For the sharp fang of the vampire" which is part of the "Vampirade".
On this occasion, I was asked to prepare a short recording. I decided to share in it information about a new stop motion puppet animation which I am currently working on entitled: "Nibbling of the Night".
I am really excited about the new "Phantom" achievement!
In July, my animated film was presented at the "Vampirade - the nineteenth holiday horror review" as part of the film competition "For the sharp fang of the vampire".
"Phantom" received the Honourable Mention Award and the Audience Award. I am very grateful!
For over a week, I have been organizing online rehearsals, preparing 14 actors to voice 17 characters in the 3 short, animated films which I direct.
I had a great pleasure of working with experienced actors, acting students and graduates.
Thank you very much to you all for the time, effort and heart put into the preparations! I learned a lot from you myself, it was a very developing experience for me.
It's an amazing feeling to be able to hear and direct the voices that make the film characters come alive.
I am very grateful to everyone, and I look forward to the recording time in the studio!
In June 2022, I organised and held voice acting auditions in Cardiff, looking for actors who could become voices of the characters in my three animated short films which I direct.
The auditions lasted 4 days, we auditioned 25 people.
Many thanks to Igor Proskuryakov for being a great assistant and cameraman.
Auditioning actors was a very exciting experience for me. The roles have already been cast and rehearsals are underway.
Voices recordings will take place soon!
I am very happy about the achievement of "Phantom", which received the award in the "Best Original Screenplay" category at the "Festival RENUAC" in Chile.
Also, my modest documentary "Venus" received the "Student Film Award" for the best student film at the "Central Illinois Feminist Film Festival" in the USA.
On June 12, 2021, I took part in a panel organized by the Irish "Fresh International Film Festival" dedicated to the aspect of creating films in different languages and influences of the language on the perception of the presented story.
During the meeting, I talked about my inspirations from the poetry of Adam Mickiewicz and Jerzy Ficowski and the reception of my poem adaptations by foreign viewers.
